Terms of Use

The app
Tasse is offered by ZeitFlow UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Berlin (see the imprint). You get the app through Apple’s App Store, and Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement governs its licence. These terms add the points that are specific to Tasse.
Your coffee journal
Tasse helps you record coffees, brewing recipes, ratings, notes and photos. Measurements and label scanning are optional. Automatically extracted label details can contain errors; check them before saving or relying on them.
Your journal is stored locally on the device where you create it. Synchronisation between devices is not currently available. Manage device backups if you want to preserve your journal when replacing or resetting a device. Deleting the app removes its local journal.
App Store purchases and refunds
The App Store shows the applicable price and purchase terms before you buy. Apple handles App Store payments, invoices, withdrawal requests and refunds under the applicable App Store terms and statutory consumer rights. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract.
Law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
